Yonatan is 17 years old and lives with his parents and 10 siblings in a small farm his mother inherited a long time ago. They are trying to live off their land, but with a household of 14 it’s nearly impossible. Yonathan has not attended a school for the past two years because he has to help his parents in the farm. They cannot afford to pay for his school because they are paying for his older brother’s education. The children in the family take turns going to school so they can pay for their basic needs, sending only one child to school at a time. After two years of no school, Yonathan has not given up on his future. He’s planning to go to school and become an electronic technician so he can start his own workshop and help his younger siblings go to school. We will do all we can to make that happen as he joins our program in 2016.
Be a part of Yonatan's bright future...
